Carley Ford

Sports Anchor/Reporter

At the beginning of 2023, Carley Ford joined the BCSN team as a Sports Anchor/Reporter. Before moving to the Toledo area, Carley worked at WJAC in Johnstown, Pennsylvania as a Sports Anchor. While living in the Keystone State she covered world champions, Penn State Athletics, the Sunnehanna Amateur, short track racing and sports in Pittsburgh. Before starting her career, she earned two bachelor’s degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University and the Dan Patrick School of Sportscasting at Full Sail University.

While attending the DPSOS, Carley began her career in sports broadcasting. She interned for the Tennis Channel, sideline reported for the Orlando Seawolves, and freelanced for the NFL, NBA and NASCAR. She also spent many nights in the broadcast booth as a color analyst for various sports at Rollings College.

Carley is excited to join the sports community in the 419. As a former athlete and national champion coach, she understands the value that local sports hold. The Virginia native is looking forward to the chance to learn more about sports in the Toledo Area. When she’s not in the studio, Carley enjoys spending her free time in the clearance isles at T.J. Maxx or facetiming her family.
