BCSN/BCAN Program Director/Anchor
Justin Feldkamp joined Buckeye Broadband’s BCSN and BCAN in November of 2020. He is the host of Inside Out with Justin Feldkamp, a 30-minute interview-style show seen monthly on BCSN. He also helps to select the high school games and the special programming that is aired on BCSN. You can also see his commentary pieces at 10:30 p.m. on Sports Nightly.
Prior to joining the Buckeye Broadband team, Justin was the 13abc Sports Director beginning in January 2016. He came to Toledo after holding Sports Anchor/Reporter positions at WSET-TV in Roanoke/Lynchburg, Virginia, and WOAY-TV in Beckley, West Virginia.
He was honored as Virginia’s Best Sports Anchor in 2014 and while at 13abc, the sports team was awarded the Associated Press Best Sportscast award in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2022.
One of Justin’s favorite parts of the job is the connection BCSN and BCAN has with the greater Toledo community. We truly care about the LOCAL aspect of broadcasting. He was honored as Virginia’s Best Sports Anchor in 2014 and while at 13abc, the sports team was awarded the Associated Press Best Sportscast award in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020. He has been nominated for regional Emmy awards three times and during his broadcasting career he has covered the World Series, NBA Finals, NCAA Baseball and Basketball Tournaments, NASCAR races, the Sugar Bowl, Orange Bowl, and minor league baseball.
Justin is a native of Cincinnati and is a graduate of Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism in Athens. During his years there, he was Sports Director of Ohio’s television station, WOUB and reported for the Emmy award winning Gridiron Glory, a high school football show. He also called radio play-by-play for the women’s basketball and baseball programs for WOUB Radio. He interned at WCPO in Cincinnati and 700 WLW radio in Cincinnati.
Justin prides himself on his professionalism, passion for sports, and his genuine presentation. Justin and his wife, Kimberly have four children…Benjamin, Molly, Jack, and Luke.
