Introducing GRIDIRON GIVEBACK, a high school food collections initiative from Seagate Foodbank & BCSN taking place throughout football season. This initiative aims to combat hunger within our local communities by engaging high schools in friendly competition to collect food donations for food pantries within their respective ZIP codes.
Schools will compete each week to see who can collect the most food.
Students, parents & community members are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items (canned goods etc.) to the school throughout the week to be weighed on Friday night.
At the end of the program, the school with the highest weight will receive a $500 Grand Prize & the Gridiron Giveback Trophy!
Can’t make it out to the school? Scan the QR code to donate. Every $1 donated equals 4 pounds of food added to your favorite school’s total!
