Whitmer’s Corvell Morgan Wins Player of the Week

In high school football, another player of the week poll is in the books and hands down our most popular polls so far this season with over 5 000 votes. It was another close one too at one point Whitmer’s Corvell Morgan and Anthony Wayne’s Jack Behnfeldt were tied at 40 percent but it’s tough to outvote Panther Nation. The senior wide receiver came away with the win earning 49.2 percent of the vote as our player of the week. Morgan’s impressive one-handed grab even landed on ESPN’s SportsCenter Top 10 plays. The senior finished the night with 107 yards on four catches and added a 66-yard score in the second quarter. Really making his presence known out on the field early in often.
