- The Cougars are on a three-game win streak after taking down Maumee, Bowling Green, and Napoleon as they improve to 4-2 in the NLL.
- They are locked into the 2022 Playoffs.
- The Wildcats are 2-3 in their last 5 games and 2-4 in the NLL this season.
- They are on the outside looking in on the playoffs and their only way of getting into the postseason is by winning this game and having some help.
