Start vs Scott City League Championship, Ottawa Hills vs Northwood, State Ranks, MORE!

Episode 09 | The BCSN Nation Podcast

October 13, 2022

Episode 09 of The BCSN Nation Podcast 🎙 is HERE!

It’s official… The BCSN Nation Podcast is now Powered by Marco’s Pizza! Thank you so much to Marco’s for joining us as we talk local high school sports!

Justin Feldkamp, Program Director and Anchor at BCSN. Co-host of The BCSN Nation Podcast.

Back for another week of high level high school football action! We are winding down the regular season with only two weeks remain until the playoffs begin! Some teams are already locked in and others are on the prowl! This week, we welcome Coach Mike Robinson back to join us as we break down this weeks topics! We’re talking the Start vs Scott City League Championship, St. John’s WR Tommy Gallagher Player of the Week, Maumee Panther Pack Student Section of the Week, the newest AP Poll State Rankings, our Game of the Week with Ottawa Hills taking on Northwood, AND discussing the disadvantages of Ohio teams not being able to participate in much offseason football activities. Let’s get rolling… 👇

Brendan Goforth, Social Media Specialist at BCSN and Host of The BCSN Nation Podcast

Starting us off this week, we take a trip over to the St. John’s Jesuit Titans where WR Tommy Gallagher secured the Charlies Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Player of the Week following, really, two weeks of great performances. This past week he had two receiving touchdowns and a two-point conversation pass in their win over the St. Francis de Sales Knights! He was also coming off a knee injury that he got the previous week but recovered very quickly!

Charlies Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Player of the Week: St. John’s Jesuit Titans WR Tommy Gallagher

Into this week’s matchups…

(3-5) Start Spartans at (6-2) Scott Bulldogs

The Spartans started the season off 0-5 in non-conference play but have won three in a row in the City League. The Bulldogs are having an overall strong year in both non-conference and conference play as they are are undefeated in the City League. This matchup will likely decide who wins the City League Championship as both teams are expected to achieve wins next week in the final game of the regular season.

BCSN’s GameDay Nation football analyst and owner of 4th and Goal Athletics | Coach Mike Robinson

An interesting topic this week…

The State of Ohio has regulations on what high school football teams can do in the offseason, this is different than our surrounding states and other regions of the United State. What are the disadvantages of Ohio teams not being able to play year round?

Sometimes… you've gotta handle things yourself! 😤😤😤
